no the smaller ones are retics and the big one is the one that i'm trying to id. i will try and post some detailed pix once i get some cuz it is very hard trying to get that big boy to stay still. as i mentioned before, the big boy is going into my pond he was just in there so i could monitor his activity and try and get an id on him before i get him in the pond. hard to get a good shot of his face while in the pond. all that stuff floating around in the tank is not dirt, its baby brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms for the retics its just the big boy keeps stirring it all around. any links with pix so i could try and compare mine to different species to try and id him? i cant seem to find a good link on the web.

waiting for that better pic:popcorn:

im leaning to dumerils now....

I really like this ray and for that size and that price the species doesnt matter

Putting him in a pond is a good idea. The smaller ones in the video didn't look very comfortable with him in the tank. Nice looking ray though.

agreed.....they actually like his company cause what ever pieces of shrimp is left over and broken up to smaller pieces they love searching for. i tried cutting up the shrimp to their size but that didnt work. but they do get weary of him when he tries to cover them which isnt often, only when he goes digging for worms.
