he has 4 feet of length to swim and is the only midwater swimmer in the tank theres also a shovelnose whose a bottom chiller and a needlefish which is a topwater chiller so he pretty much has all the swim space the tank has available to himself
eventually, is what we are saying he will need alot of swim space, they get pretty big, but you said you've looked them up so you know lol. why am I talking
i am in wisconsin and am looking for a paroon shark .any info would be appreciated . ill pay for shipping .. i have a iridescent shark and mine looks like all of yours .. black and silver .. mine is only about 2 to 3 inches so far .. its hard to tell when they are lil like mine ..
It is not listed here among common names for Pangasius sanitwongsei http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=268: Chao Phraya Giant Catfish, Giant Pangasius, Paroon Shark, Pla Tepa but I have seen plenty of instances where they are labeled as "Emperor Shark", "High Fin Shark", and "Emperor High Fin Shark".
I am rather sure your fish is Pangasius sanitwongsei. Max length of 8' SL, 9' TL but that takes good (champion) genes, diet, luck, lots of swimming space, and lots of time. If all goes well, your paroon will reach 4'-5' in several years. I'd plan for that.
