need help in identifying super red arowana

So by a fish being branded chilli or blood red then I was right in saying that they should be of higher grade than a SR
When red could be easy found in the wild chilli was found in one location blood red in a different location that's something that can't be changed
By a aro being certed as blood or chilli that is not a fancy made up name like fire red or violet fusion blood and chilli red were names give to red to tell what location they came from
I may be wrong on this as in not from Asia so don't have the day to day 1st hand info others have and have just read what I can

Higher in price, yes, in SG's situation. Chilli red is more expensive than SR, but it does not mean Chilli red exists as a separate species. It cannot be proven because the world recognizes red arowana as one, Schleropages Legendrei. As far as we are concerned, there is no species called chilli red, and so what if the farm decides to call their hybrid aros chilli red? who is to question the practice and using what basis? Hearsay from some fairy tale book?
We all hobbyists like to believe there is a blood red which is superior because the colour comes a lot faster than chilli and the colour is more intensely red. Perhaps there is a fish that is consistently having that characteristic. Branding may surface the fish as the efforts are directed at looking for such red fishes.
More research needs to be done on Schleropages Legendrei, probably it requires archaelogists to reconstruct the past at some point in time the reds have disappeared from the wild and farming practices have mixed all the species to the extent they are not longer distinct.

the two origin points i know about are lake Kapuas west kalimantan,indo and
Sentarum Lake, (west Borneo) Indonesia. so these would likely be linked genetically anyway.
reds, super reds, chilli, blood. i think of it as genetic colour splay. unless you wanted to source what you want from a farm that more likely has the original line from a certain river. i have some info on that in a book at work as to which farms had what but you could imagine these days that a lot of farms have their reds coming from all over the place.

this is one of those that i paid for.. basically it tells that there is a decent level of genetic diversity among reds. hence why we can see much variation even among fish from the same original area. i am sure that a farmer will choose a fish from a batch and might label it as he chooses. inbreeding say a chilli red again and again would be able to firm up those genes, however i doubt many have taken such a breeding pathway out of all the arowana farms around today but if we look hard enough we could find who still does.

Thanks, I am truly grateful for every little clue about this very beautiful creature.
I've read the Sudarto paper before. Yes, the second paper is revealing, very macro, it's like a missing chapter in a book that is unfolding, and you are right, I like it very much. It provides for me a very important background likened to Genesis to the beginning of human life.
The third paper is a little bit difficult to absorb, some of the conclusions cannot be reconciled with our hobbyists' beliefs, and really requires a lot more study and either a total rejection or a total paradigm change. Probably I have to seek further opinion. I must say that this article hits me like a ton of bricks. I am not rejecting the conclusions put forth, they just need to filter through the corners of the mind, each sentence being compared with the experiences, the words said, written....
It's a great discussion, I am truly glad I entered into this forum, because I am richer now. Apparently, I will follow up on the article. And I shall share with everyone what I discover.
