250$ SGD, so that's like 204$ USD for a complete setup for an Arowana?... I seriously doubt this tank is sufficient size...
i dont know it might very well be decent size tell you the truth..
some other countries they dont price stuff as expensive as US, US is pricey except cars.
that is why if you make 1000 US bucks monthly out there..like china, indonesia, veitnam, or ETC..you will be living large there.
in US u can barely afford rent

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the exchange so maybe you're right. I still question the tank size though considering this person doesn't even seem too familiar with fish keeping.

Do some reading up on tank setup, filtration, maintenance. In short, filter MEDIA is the stuff you put inside the filtration that works in the tank, like ceramic rings, scrubbies, and mesh. It has 3 main purposes depending on the kind- mechanical (actual particles), biological (space for bacteria to grow, good bacteria that break up wastes) and chemical (usually in form of carbon, NOT recommended unless removing medication or toxin).
