I knew she was ready to lay eggs. I'm guessing the rose queen you got from is getting along well with your male.

Yup, I removed the RD and introduced her, with no divider. No Problem! Next Day I saw her vent out a bit. No eggs yet but about a quarter of my 75 is bare down to the glass from them moving sand. There's a clay plate but they don't seem too interested in that. Thanks for the RQ. I'm hoping to see eggs soon!
With how she has done in the past ...she did well with or without the male ...If he starts to get aggressive then I would remove him
No fry from first batch but will try again. Pot she layed in was a tight fit for her. I removed it and layed a big clay plate. If no fry this spawn I'm going to assume male is infertile.
