I just got two 12" clown knives that otherwise had a death sentence.
I was planning on building a tank 8x4x2 (480 gallons) for my existing predators but they are still young. I have two 4" Oxyeleotris marmorata (marbled gobies) and three same sized senegal bichirs. While it's summer the clowns can be outside chained into my pond (water temp stays above 70). Once the tank inside is done I'm obviously going to have to make a few divisions because everyone else will be *lunch* for those clowns.
So far the marbled gobies and bichirs have an even growth rate so they can be kept together for a while. How much floor space would you give them?
When the gobies get big enough to munch the bichirs how much floor space for each?
Will the marbleds be big enough to co habitate with the clowns in the end?
How much final floor space would you give the bichirs?
