Those are bichir worms, mine got hit hard by them before. The palmas polli practically has an entire head covered with them that they look like hair and the senegal's belly was covered with them. My SB albino senegal was the worst as even the worms were crawling around it's eyes.
Search your LFS for either JungleLab Parasite Clear or Waterlife Sterazin.
I used waterlife sterazin as my entire tank was infested with them and parasite clear would be costly.
It stained the water green but it did get rid of all the worms. The instructions said to treat over a period of 5 days, I did a 10 day treatment to make sure all worms are wiped out completely since bichirs are hardy fish and should withstand the treatment.

Hi!
This is Bichir worm.
Pretty much all WC Bichirs will come with this.
It does not affect fish other than Bichirs.
No need to take the fish out and into a quarantine, as if they have been in with other Bichirs, the other Bichirs will have it too, but maybe not quite visible yet.
They are not egg laying parasites, so just dose the meds in the tank with all fish together.
Jungle parasite clear works very fast and safely with all fish.
Pretty much any ext parasite meds will work.
thanks tokoygasmask yesterday i put mardel coppersafe in the tank it says it meds the tank for 30 days would a water change effect the meds or when should i do a water change
The parasite you have is probably Macrogyrodactylus polypteri. You should probably look it up by name. Bichirs are pretty resistant to most fish diseases, but this one ONLY affects them and it is quite common.
