Exactly what my mistake was... my gravel is large and allows food to sink down into it where it doesn't get eaten or sucked up right away and builds toxins... I got lazy and didn't remove my decor for cleaning a few times and all the food and waste built up under my big piece of wood and a flat slate rock and it cost me... All the others that I shocked by just tossing them in a new tank to escape the poison are still ok though!
