So I have noticed brown algae since the dawn of this tank, I am tired of it, and I think if I upgrade my lights from this...

Enhance your aquatic display with All-Glass Twin-Tube Strip Lights. Two fluorescent tubes and a built-in reflector (plastic in 24" & 30", aluminum in 36" & 48") make your aquarium even more fascinating and beautiful. Internally mounted ballasts with an instant-start circuit can be operated on a timer or switch-controlled outlet. Highly efficient light housing cooling extends tube and ballast life. Use with Rapid Start or Preheat fluorescent tubes. Accepts T-8, T-10 and T-12 bulbs. Comes with two 9325ºK bulbs.

will this help my tank a lot and finally grow my java moss? and the bulbs that come with it, are they good ? ( Comes with two 9325ºK bulbs. ) should I add different lights to this strip to make the tank brighter and if so what kind of bulbs? this will be sitting on top of a versa glass top.

not even my java moss will grow in my tank right now

Coralife Aqualight Deluxe Double Linear Strip Fixture is what i have

I have a corallife hood on my 29 gallon that i like. Mine is a saltwater reef/fish tank so i need the extra boost of compact florescent lights. They have built in fans for cooling, 2 bulbs, each on its own power supply so you can use them on different timers if you so choose. They are going to be more expensive than normal flourescent bulbs but if your having that much problem you might want to consider the investment. I was lucky enought to get a used unit for half of what a new one would cost which is usualy around $150.
