Need help on lighting options

I am tired of looking at my bass and not being able to see the colors that these guys truly have. Anybody have any suggestions on lighting for me. Tank is 8'x4'x30" 600 gallon. Here is a couple of pictures...just not colorful enough.


Fish has to be in the right spot to show any good color.

I've recently setup some of the LED strips off eBay. They work great, put off tons of light and are really efficient.

Im also going to try natural sun light t8 bulbs from lowes.

How big is that tank and how many are you running?

Start with these.

You can also change the 5050 to 3528 for lesss power draw. All you need is some LED, connector or two, wire, and a power supply. Boom. I wired entire 12ft-3tier rack for about $40.

That was a 180gal. I ran two 4' two bulbs each.

I run 2x LED on my 8'x32"x30 and I don't like it. It's not that bright.

I need some advice on lighting too... I got 3 fixtures to install lights into. THey are each for 24 inch lights, but one is wider than the other 2 by about 4 inches. (center piece is 25.5x14 & 2 side pieces are 25.5x9.5)... So, with money no issue, what would be the best lighting to get so the colors of the fish really come out. I figure retro-fit.?.?
