they say overstocking your tank is a good way to lessen aggression...these fish are very aggressive and they say, the more fish you have in the tank, the more peaceful they will be...you will also need lots of rocks (caves).
The fish will ultimately determine how many fish you can stock. You will find some to be more aggro. than others and may have to be moved. Some males once they reach maturity become nasty and need to find new homes. Some fish are dwarfish, others monsters. Start w/10 -12 small fish once the tank is fully cycled. After a few weeks to allow the BB to rebound, you can add some more. Avoid adding one at a time. When adding new fish add small groups to prevent total harrassment. The newbies will always get tagged.
