I usually do x7- x10 flow rate for my tanks.. The media and plumbing will reduce the flow rate anyway so I do higher. Why?

Welcome aboardYou could DIY a mesh lid like a fly screen on a window! You’ll likely need to make a support frame in the center to keep it from slouching inwards, but it’ll make the entire lid very lightweight and easy to cut ports into.
Might not be the best option if evaporation is a concern though.
What are these things on the side?

And this on the back?

No way could you get that high a flow rate through any overflow box. Usually overflow boxes feed into sumps. You would need a gigantic sump tank and a huge pump to return 7500 L/hr. If it were my tank, I would take advantage of the eight holes on the sides of the tank and plumb in uptake and return lines to filters - like a couple of Ultima II filters which provide both biological and mechanical filtration. I'd use the slot in the back for redundant biological filtration with a sump. If you went bare floor, consider dropping some uptake pipes to just off the floor - poop sucker pipes...there won't be any debris to vacuum off the floor. You might also consider using venturi return nozzles that increase the flow rate and spit out a lot of air. I haven't found the need for any additional aeration devices because the venturi spits out air.I am thinking of buying or making an external overflow box, never done it before..
Would an intake from external filter work?
Also I plan on around 10x turnover, so like 7500L/h .
Cannot find overflow boxes with that flow rate..
The things on the side of my tank are not holes.. they are glass buttons siliconed there.. maybe last person had a DIY lid on..The holes are for bulkheads for the filtration plumbing. The slot is definitely not there for a finger hold. It is perfect for an external overflow box.
My tank has six slots feeding into two external overflow boxes. However the holes for the return lines are drilled near the slots to the overflow boxes.

I have already made overflow external tubing that does 7500L/h… wish it was higher tho..No way could you get that high a flow rate through any overflow box. Usually overflow boxes feed into sumps.
