Need help on triangular tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi Guys, I need some advice. I need to keep the top of the tank open so that my RTG arowana can enjoy little bit of jumping. Since two sides of the triangular tank is covered by walls, I need to worry about the front side only. What I need to do is put a vertical net or a glass along the top line of the front panel. The choices I have is a net or a glass (do I have other choices?). A glass will be more clear I think but a net would be cheaper and safer (won't break). But don't know whether the net will look messy since it will be right in front.
Please help me with the ideas.

A friend of mine did the glass sealing to concrete part for me. It is a black silicone but I'm not sure what brand it is.

I plan to put some vines and plants running on the back end walls plus there will be lotus plants with leaves coming out of the tank. Therefore I need to be able to see beyond the net or glass that I'm putting. Therefore vines would be not possible (otherwise it would be pretty cool I think).
Here are some pictures of the current status of the tank.
I am going to put a water proofing paint before putting a cement layer on top of the concrete.
