Need help, Oscar with swollen eye!

Well im taking out the driftwood with the sharp edges, this is a big piece of wood, so there will be less hiding spots.
I hope there will not be more agression in the tank now.

Ill think about removing the pleco.

Update:

Oscar didnt eat today.
He is being sulky and is laying on the ground.
Breathing is normal, I guess he just is in pain.

I also raised the temp from 26°C to 29°C, hoping to avoid fungus and infection.

I know this is an old thread but did your fish get better? I have a spotted silver dollar that bumped into a bit of wood and has the same thing happen to him.

His eye is better now, he can see from both his eyes.
