so recently, my 300 gallon busted. Im tired of Water pets, so im gonna venture into reptiles.

the tank size is 8'x2'x31''

Im looking for a reptile, that is fairly easy take care and doesn't need any special lighting.

Another thing to consider is, the tank is in the garage and temperatures could probably hit into the 40-50s

Im kinda broke, so the only thing i would want to buy is a heating pad

so you want a free animal that requires little to no care, only heat and magic? sign me up also!

well i didnt mean like i dirt poor. if i want something ill buy it.

i just want a animal, that doesn't need a lot of special accommodations such as UV lighting

A red tail boa or carpet python would do well in that tank and they do not need UV anything. just keep it nice and warm with a big heat pad and maybe some basking lights. just about all snakes will not require UV so it is really up to you. If it were my tank, I would fill it with an O. hannah but I am not sure you would want to go there...

what is an O?

are there any lizards that could handle low temperatures and do without any UV?

crested geckos would be good in a nice planted tank, like 5 females would be cool

its not a reptile, but an axolotl, easiest thing to keep

KOMODO DRAGON!!!!!

Ophiophagus hannah, King Cobra.

lol

im think, i wanna stay away from snakes. my mom wouldn't like it, and i dont want a 10 fơot snake in the near future.

i thinking of doing a desert theme/ for a bearded Dragon. How tolerant are they, to colder temperatures, under 60?

If not, a Forrest theme, maybe do crested Geckos
