lol

im think, i wanna stay away from snakes. my mom wouldn't like it, and i dont want a 10 fơot snake in the near future.

i thinking of doing a desert theme/ for a bearded Dragon. How tolerant are they, to colder temperatures, under 60?

If not, a Forrest theme, maybe do crested Geckos

Go with some tiger salamanders. They'll be able to tolerate the cooler temps.

how well do they tolerate the warmer tempurtures?

i see that they can be found in all regions of the united states, so i assume fairly well.

are they aggressive? since it is a large tank, i would like to house a group of them

you shouldn't expect to find something without half ***ing it
the cost of lights and stuff really isn't bad and I think if you put some time and effort into it some bearded dragons would be perfect or uromastyx

They can be kept in groups as long as they are the same size.

compared to fishkeeping, mostly everything you need for a reptile is cheap.

Also tiger salamanders, IN A 300 lol. I wouldnt day that, dont they bury under the substrate? You would never see them, especially in a 300.

its gonna be an s.o.b. to heat that thing. I would make a plywood top, and about 4 or 5 mecury vapors and a group of Egyptian Uromastyx. that would be sweet.

Bottom line just about anything you get thats not a snake and will get big enough to habituate that monster is gonna need uv.

If you don't have money to buy the animal, how are you going to afford the vet bills if it gets sick? I don't think you should get anything. JMO

You beat me to it;) And thats exacly the point, if you dont have much money to spend then you should really think twice before getting any animal at all. There are very few species that can withstand the set of conditions your providing, mostly amphibs but then in the summer they wouldnt like at all the heat. And then its the food, the possible vet bills, etc.
