Need help. pups and leos getting white dots.

try changing 25% water on alternate days for a week. Should clear up. The main idea is to reduce the nitrates to below 10 ppm.

I have had similar experiences, it doesn't look like fungus cause it doesn't stick out or anything like that. I didn't do a thing and the next thing I knew it was gone.

thanks guys... i was pretty stressed out but it sounds lik its not too big of a deal...

ill take the nitrates down and see what happens....

i didnt even do anything yet and the leos are already clear.

my one motoro pup still has it but the two other pups look better already with no treatment at all.

My friends name the spot "growth spot". Stingrays get growth spot when the animal grows rapidly. Because color is later than growth. Usually good appetite ray gets growth spot. I guess your motoro eat much more food than your leopoldi.

Growth spot prove that your rays get a nice condition conclusively.
Don't worry about it.
