need help quick!!!!

i think i know wats wrong, i have a heater that is only 50 watts and a mate said that will be fine untill i get a 300 tomorrow. and stupidly i've listened. after looking it up its not even close to enough!!

i can feel that the water shud be warmer.

do you guys think they will survive till tomorrow or should i put the heater and fish back in the smaller tank untill then?

i canyt believe ive done this, im such a d**k!!

make sure the room is warm, even to the point where you are sweating. you could also put warm water into a heat resistant tub with a lid, ie chinese takaway tub or something similar. put the sealed tub into the tank, add dechlor to the wam water in the tub just in case it happens to leak.

if you add warm water too fast it can shock the fish and kill them, thats why i havent said just heat some up and pour it in.

now to brew some tea/coffee until you can get to the shop tomorrow morning, its going to be a long night watching that thermometer.

hope that helps, there may be a far simpler solution but its the best i can think of this late on.
