Ok. Well also found out he change the water with ice cold water from outside and he broke the heater tank is 60 degree. I'm warm it up and add a heater. Fish looks bad. The Texas I have has turn jet black

Change 50% water with about 68 degree water to help warm them but no shock them

There doing better with warmer water. Did 70degrees. There swimming again. Still have cloudy eyes. Colors are coming back. Put a really crappy heater on it.

Oh man I would be so pissed off at him.I hope your fish pull through.But seriously using water from the tap outside maybe petsmart should give him a job.
Lol he has done 3 water change on this tank and every time something has died. He doesn't like a cloudy tank so when it start to look cloudy he changes water. But if they survive tonight they will all make it. Still breathing heavily. But color and cloudy eyes are slowly disappearing. I added some Epsom salt and heat and a half dose of melafix

You need to sit down and have a serious talk to your gf about how her dad's meddling with your aquarium, all good intentions aside, is potentially bringing about an earlier than anticipated end to your relationship and possibly even a future friendship if he cannot keep his hands on dry land from here on in. Tell her to relay your displeasure with his ignorant actions along with a one and only warning to him.
Anyways, too bad about your fish. Things like that make me glad I'm a human and not a fish or guinea pig or dirty flats alley cat that other humans can advertantly or inadvertantly do horribly painful and uncomfortable things to.
