The male has deeper black/purple tones like this and the female has like blotchy kind of pattern..like 2nd pic..hope that helps

mine don't touch live food, only hikari staple, they don't trust anything else, which is supriseing being that they F0's

that's odd, I've never seen a fish that won't eat bloodworms, or a cichlid that won't eat a fish that fits in it's mouth, try some nightcrawlers or crickets

i will, ussally the greedy oscar gets all that stuff before they do though, lol

i hate the look of skinny fish, i've always wanted mine to look bulky like my pbass, mine in general are really slender.
