3 days ago I aquired a wild caught motoro stingray from peru. He was previously at a fish store for about a week or two only.

So on my daily water change I noticed a few white dots/lines on the side of my tank. They are really tiny little white lines/dots and upon inspecting the tank very closely I can see a few of them moving around.

So that being said what do I have in my tank? Id take a picture but its to small and wont really come out.

Not sure if they are planaria because I have a bare bottom tank and have done a water change removing the uneaten food every day

thats what it sounds like. overfeeding and uneaten food cause it. i used to get it from time to time.very small white worms looking things.

Yea thats what i was reading online but theres zero food in there, Ill probably have to check the filters and see if anything got lodged in there.

they're a good warning sign that you should do a water change/cleaning/inspection. having a few in your tank won't do much harm, they're helping clean it. they're just an eyesore for those who want a pristine looking show tank.

Planaria = Not Harmful...just clean your gravel really well and make sure you siphon all the leftover food debris that are uneaten and that will get rid of them. Planaria live on uneaten food/food underneath your gravel

: O i understand now uh well if its not planeria then one time i bought a wild cat fish and all these tiny shrimp came of of him and stuck to the other fish until the day they died but they were pefectly healthy all during that time
