What's up MFK. I have a 65G tall (36Wx18Dx24T) that I'm looking to stock but I can't think of anything good so I need your opinions and suggestions. The only inhabitants in the tank are an L52 pleco and a couple of snails. I have been using this tank as a growout for other fish but it no longer needs to serve that purpose, so I would like to find a fish that could call this his/her permanent home. I am not looking to get small schooling fish, but rather I would like one nice fish that could comfortably live with these dimensions. I would really appreciate any advice you guys have to give. I live in California so please take that into consideration.

3x Ctenopoma
4x African Butterfly fish
2x Rope fish if you get rid of the pleco

Starting with a L052 is a good start. But I would like too see that tank come to life with a little decoration. Preferably wood and caves.

JML- I was actually thinking about the leaffish, have you had any experience with them? I want a nice active swimmer. I have seen the butterfly fish but they usually only stay on the top, I would prefer something that uses as much tank as possible. Ropefish are nice but I could not trade the pleco for a ropefish, I love this little guy lol.
Smitty- I don't think I'll be adding any wood or caves. But I do want more plants, enough to provide fish some cover from the light or just to get away from seeing me if it gets sick of my face haha.
