7 days treatment with salt at 0.3% and temp at 86F.
No signs of whitespot for 2 days now.
Will continue treatment for another 2 days to ensure no whitespot survives.
All fish seem to be doing well, other than the algae eater which has not moved from the same spot next the the internal filter for the last 3 days, but hes still alive.
Fish actually showing better coloration in the warmer temps so may leave tank at this temp. There is plenty of aeration!
I have actually had to treat both of my tanks for whitespot because i had been using the nets and siphon pipe for both tanks.
What would be the best way to sterilise these? Do not want to use anything like bleach.
Highly recommended method of treating ich! Very cheap, easy to dose, and it actually works; unlike a lot of whitespot treatments I have tried.
