hi all,
i cant post any pix, dunno y.

the main problem is that my aro's head seems to have "trapped air bubbles".. it looks like when you wear smaller size shoes and your feet tend to have blisters.. thats how i would describe it.. hope everybody knows what they are.. i noticed only 1 when i brought the aro home. now theres like 5-6 of it around the top of the head and a couple on the cheeks.. im worried.. skin disease like fungus? genetics? i know its hard without any pix..

umm maybe the outflow of the filter makes bubbles stick to arowana..Try to touch it and see if it moves..

Yea, I've seen that before on my Jardini and I was all "OMFG ICH?!" but then it turned and it floated to the top.

A pic would help. Does it look like this ?
Sounds like a bacterial infection, last christmas I adopted a Jar which was suffering from this as a result of being kept in very dirty/toxic parameters.
Was persistant and difficult to treat, reoccured after treatment with Metro, ended up giving a high dose of Oxytetracycline hcl via injection.
Check your parameters, do a water change treat with antibiotic, oxytetracycline hcl or similar.
keep up regular water changes.

No its not pleasant is it :(
Should have seen the setup she was in when when I picked her up 4x2x2 which was full of what can only politely be described as sewerage. Had been for sale for a while but nobody would buy her, got her for free, a bit of work to get her over her issues, she had bad LLE as well as the bacterial infection.
