Need help w/Sump...

try to troubleshoot everything before you install a ball valve, it might shorten the pumps lifespan if its not rated for back pressure.

i have a circulation pump rated for 1090 gph on 2x 1" bulkheads and i had to install a ball valve to slow the water INTO the sump.

maybe there is some little problem youre not seeing...

Thats what I was thinking.. I have dual 1.25" Durso Stand pipes on mine and even with my 2400gph pump wide open they keep up with it.
