i have a pentagon tank that is 51" long and 18 1/2" wide in the middle. how would i build a stand for this.
Im thinking supports at the end, the back, the front where it is widest, then right in the middle of the tank, then on the angle parts. then a flat piece on the top. I hope this make sense. Would this work?

Pictures of the tank would help answer your question.

Don't feel forced to recreate a pentagon shaped stand for your tank. I would create a strong cabinet with a flat top that can accomodate the widest edges of the tank. You'll find that the unused top of the cabinet will act as a ledge you could put a food container on. In designing the stand, think of a rectangle or large square with a frame that's reinforced in the middle.

True I didn't think about that. I will still get a picture for reference. But you guys can't laugh. It's really ugly but I traded a 7" tire track eel for it.
