Need help with diy stand for a pentagon stand

A pentagon tank would have 5 corners, not 6. This is just a odd shaped tank. Looks like it was a section out of a pet store or something. If I were you I'd just pretend it had 4 corners and make a regular rectangle shaped stand. No point in building a stand around the shape of the tank.
I would just start with cutting plywood to match the shape of the tank and then building the rest of the stand off of the plywood. Should be relatively easy, you just have to somewhat work backwards.
You could use the plywood as a template to build the lower and upper frames.

This shape is technically a hexagon, seeing as there are 6 sides.
A tank shaped stand would have a leg at every corner. to make it look good you're going to need a compound miter saw (and probably a table saw) to cut the 45 degree angles.
If your 'shop' consists of Home Depot cutting your lumber for you, make a big rectangle stand and have a corner to put your beverage while you admire your fish.

Ya I will probably do a square stand. Much easier. Sorry don't know why I said pentagon, meant hexagon. And I have seen these tanks in meijers before. Thanks for the help
