need help with feeding earthworms

if you have a non-euro braced tank and an old ac70 filter...take the "guts" out of the filter leaving the plastic holder and the sponge...then get one of the vine plants for lik $4-8 from wal-mart clean the dirt off, place it in the filter on top of the sponge...bam hydroponics made easy...no roots in the tank (if you don't like that)...flows away from the moving parts of the filter + a plastic wall to stop growth that way...can't go wrong...i have plants in all of my hob filters...

I have to say, that is a fairly ingenious idea!

As for the OP, if it is not a well established tank, then yes, cut up earthworms could affect the waste levels enough to cause issues. In that case, it would be good to put as little extra waste into the tank as possible, i.e. cutting up the worms somewhere else.

I also agree, hydroponics should be something to consider, as it can be done very easily.

i thank you...also lucky bamboo fits well into the back of a emperor 400/marineland 350 biowheel aswell...
