Thanks for the information everyone. Most of the larger fish I brought home from the auction were placed together into a single holding tank but will be moved around soon. I didn't take any pictures from the convention and regret that now. The central american cichlids were few and far between but I managed to accumulate a nice group at the auction. There were several nice centrals sold during the first 4 hours of the sunday auction, but many were mislabeled. They must have been fish donated for various displays, but never made it into the display tanks, eventually got lost in the shuffle and were sold at auction. Some were even sold during the dry goods auction the day before. Here's a list of what I got

4 Vieja guttulatus (3-4")
3 Vieja regani (4-5")
1 Vieja argentea (3")
1 Vieja synspilum (3")
1 Vieja bifasciatus or hartwegi (6")
1 Cichlasoma beani
1 Amphilophus trimaculatus (8")
2 Amphilophus labiatus (5-6") 1 barred, 1 white, later found out that these were sent by Rapps
1 Amphilophus labiatus (5-6") pink/black, simple lips, beautiful fish but don't know its origin
1 Amphilophus citrinellus "siquirres" (7-8") also learned from Rapps that this was an F0 fish he sent
1 Herichthys labridens
1 Salvini

I think I spent right around $100.

The trimac handled the trip fantastically, not a scratch on him. He's a beautiful fish and doing great. They sold him at the auction as a possible flowerhorn. But I doubt that, as he was in a 20g all weekend in the vendors room, not just brought in for the auction.

I think the white labiatus was $5. Same for the barred labiatus.
