Could be a residual issue that will go away or it could be a permanent issue. I would just watch it closely.
Yah im thinking the same way but hopefully it pulls throught.i wish i can put him in MRI in my work, lolzI once got four free cichlids ( parachromis loisellei) of various sizes, all the fry were from the same batch. One day I notice the largest one having seizures. Its body would go stiff and it would start twitching and floating around like it was dead. A few minutes later it would be done and it was sitting on the bottom breathing heavily. I watched this behavior happen for a while and knew something was wrong so I put it down. Well as the second largest grew up, it too would have the seizures. Finally I determined it to just be a genetic defect in the fish passed on from the parents. Your lap could have something weird like that or more likely a head injury that is not quite healed up.
So when i was in the LFS getting my water check, i called my coworker and he said that the lap did jump out of his tank twice. So i think it has a head injury.
Hey man dont trust your lfs to test your water. Buy api liquid master test kit. With the amount of polys you have i wouldnt leave it up to lfs.
Allot of lfs will lie about water quality just to get customers to buy more fish.
