Need help with massive tank move

2 things worry me about sliding it
1. will it hurt the tank
2. how hard is it going to be to get it off the ground (including my method) the weight will be hard but where I would have to hold it plus the tank would be in my knees way is what truly worries me

no sliding it will be fine long as its resting on something ( dont slide it right across the floor in other words)

like I said just get 2-4 egg crates that way you can slide it around and when you have to lift it up just lift it onto the egg crates until you can lift it right up from a nice position.

honestly I think when you left the tank up you will realize how light it actually is and just walk it.

I moved a 5ft 110 oceanic tank solo using those plastic discs from home depot.. tank and stand at the same time.. half way on carpet, half on a hardwood floor.. they have fuzzy caps to put over the plastic when you are moving on non carpet floors.. moved it about 30ft I would guess.. and those tanks weight a lot more than your typical AGA etc of the same size..
