He has improved a lot since yesterday....i believed my water parameter on the new tank has cause him major stress...all other fishes are doing fine though.
one of his scale fallen off while there's one that still attach... should i pull it out? i treated this tank with Melafix last night. This stuff has a minty smell to it. Will this affect my ray and my new cat?
He ate about 5 meal worm this morning.... looks like he's coming around....
there's only 6 left in there.... i will remove it when i re-introduce my aro.... i don't feed my aro feeder very often ( maybe 1 a month as treat )... but after this ordeal there will be none....
whats the temperature in the tank? sometimes fluctuating temps can put stress on an arrow same with ph changes.
I agree on the feederfish, I always keep them seperated in a different tank.
make sure before you introduce your aro- do a 50 % water change and let the filter run for a bit. the filter could stress him out its true. Do you have a airstone going also? Just curious. I hope you baby gets better. I know it sux when things happen that are not in our control.
i'm running a 120g sump.... there should be plently of oxygen between the overflow box and the spray hole i made unintentional to cut off the reserve flow in case of power outage. I also added an air stone in the sump just in-case...water temp is the same for both tank..... ph is slightly of...
