hey guys my big guy is turning darker and darker sometime so dark that you cant see the flowerline at all.is it normal? is it harmfull? am getting worried lol.here is the before and after pics

he is in a 75gallon tank and lots of space to swim.he is also eating well very active.thanks oh and he is at 5-6 inch
the fish is not well conditioned. i can see it in his eyes. how long have you been taking care of him?
Mine started doing that after I put him on dark sand. After I switched to white sand he still stayed dark. He eats a big varied diet, is active and healthy. I know he's not sick or 'not well conditioned'. Mine has lots of pearls just like like yours so I wonder if that's got something to do with it.....?
lol i have only take care of it for a week lol.i wonder is it is the orgiginal color of him lol .
Check your water parameters. If not that, maybe he's getting stressed from seeing other fh next/around him.(mirror method apply here as well)
