just an update, got up this morning and fed the rays their normal meal and all of them ate. some still showing signs of lifting their discs. although not as much as last night. as per advise of shadowstryder, im turning off my powerhead/wavemaker to see if its the current in the tank that is lifting the disc. will update ya'll in a bit

the rays seem to be doing better now. i cant get a decent photo or look at the rays because they dont seem to want to stay still..... dont know why but they keep swimming around the tank as against yesterday, that they were just in the bottom of the tank and not swimming much. i guess swimming around is better than staying at the bottom. what i cant understand is this... i changed water even if my water parameters were ok. so that should have not made any difference with the rays right? but the thing is, it did make a difference... could it be that the brandnew testkit i bought are erroneous. for those wondering what brand they are, its an api freshwater master testkit. which is pretty much the only test kit you can get here. any ideas on how to tell if the testkit is off?
just checked with the rays and they are still lifting their discs but eating and very active... i truly hope there is nothing wrong with these guys =( . Checked parameters aswell. ammonia = 0/ nitrite = 0/ ph = 7.4 still steady/ nitrate = 5 to 10 ppm
