Agree with Anne. Turn off the lights, dump in feeders, and leave it alone.

Mine comes out when I dump food in the tank. So far his favorite foods are frozen shrimp, fish, beefheart, peas and anything else on the bottom. His favorite size of food is whatever fits in his mouth. Other than that he never comes out.

No worries, it should be fine. I never seen my Ornate eat before but shes not 24" so she must be eating.

i'll have to try the night crawler to see if that works. the blood worms are gone before they even hit the bottom same as the beefheart. is there any way i could get them down there before they get eatin?
