Here's an updated shot of the tank with a little elbow grease applied.... You can use the glass panes (the brown / white things that have the spray bottle on top to the right of the tank) as a measure against what the glass looked like to start with.
As far as the other 55 gallon tanks, I'm keeping one set-up for my angels and I'm selling the other. The wife says two tanks max, and I think it would be easier to get rid of a bunch of 55 gallon supplies (lights, stand, etc) if I had the tank to go with them.
Thanks for the advice on the DIY wet/dry filters. I just need to figure out how they work... What's the difference between a wet/dry and a sump? Or are they the same thing?

It's a Marineland Magnum 350 PRO System HOB canister that's rated for up to 100 gallons. If I couple that with my Penguin Biowheel 350, that would be adequate filtration, right?
