Need help with new NGT

Sounds like you are in good shape then.It's too bad I can't say the same for the fish....Now I'm a little curious as to why the shop owner allowed his merchandise to fall into such condition,he even knew that it was at a point where it would not eat right away,seems like he is/was lax in protecting his investment.

thanks, Yup, its a pity to see lots of them in a small tank :(
he brought in lots of them, not sure why he allowed them to get to this condition , really a waste :(
Really tempted to ask him to fatten up the one i got, if he can get it to eat and fatten it up, I'm willing to take it back.

bt whats the longest period you had a new datnoid not accept food? I usually can get them to eat in a day or 2.
specially with feeders.
 
As a matter of fact the NGT that I have now was a little thin and run down looking when I'd first gotten it.It took about a week before it would even eat a goldfish.

Well there is no need to be,hard earned money is not to be wasted.thats what basically would have happened had you kept the fish and it died later on....The one I have I got at a time when there were really none around to be found and if I hadn't taken a long drive to get it,I would not have taken the chance on it and brought home with me.
