need help with skateboard

I need help picking out a new skateboard, i have a really crappy one and both of the trucks broke off...Is that because they are bad quality trucks or what? i keep landing on them weird when i try to ollie but i didnt think that they would break. i dont want to go out and get a $100 board because im not good at skateboarding i cant even ollie yet, but i want to get a board thats not going to break when i try to do something on it.

which one has better trucks/bearings/hardware/griptape? Which one should i get?

Did the trucks break or the wood?
You should go to a local skateshop and buy a blank (a board with no graphic on it) you can find them for 50-60 bucks.

no the deck is fine, its the trucks that broke
 
Get yourself a pair of Indys ;)
 
Trucks: silvers
Board: alien workshop
Bearings: china bones or swiss bones
Grip tape: zoo york
Wheels: anything thats not fat caveman looking
 
yea i'd get yourself a blank board and some independents.....they're the only trucks i ride..........great for everything............
 
Just get a blank, unless you can afford to spend a couple 100$ on this setup

I ride either
asthetics, or alien workshop
Silver's or ventures
China bones or swiss bones
Zew york grip tape :) i like the logo.

my bored is light and has major pop. i can ollie over those big ass trashcans and outher stuff.. but i quit skateing when i fractured my spine. that was a ****ty year of recovery.
 
i ride a element board (one of bam's old boards), black magic grip, element swiss bearings, and indy trucks........love it ......can't skate a lot though after i f'ed my knee up.........
