ok id go with the zoo york or check out your local shops and pick out a blank deck and some krux or grind king trucks. i ride mystery and pretty much only mystery. and i love krux and GK but this board is about you soo pick out something you like. but if i may suggest going with slower bearings if your a beginer because landing on your back after tryin to get on is not fun. trust me. ride or die

oh ya my disclaimer

be safe

I skate a mystery although my favorite skate team has to be zoo york i saw them 2 times and of course RIP Harold Hunter! well anyway i would get the zoo york board and ohno barracuda said about grind king NEVER GET 'EM the king-pin breaks and they are very heavy. i skate thunders and i have also skated krux and they are very good and light at that.

ok thanks

Are bearings easy to remove and replace? I have 8 APEC-5 on my skateboard right now, they arent that fast. Maybe i could just buy the board and replace the bearings that come with it?

OK i have abec 3's on my board and they are faster than anything i have ever had except bones reds.

how long have you had those bearings ZOO because the longer you have them the less friction. and get some BP 7s an then your talking fast

congrats on your tre flip
i remember when i got it down and like milkman would say i practically shat myself

My first board was like 50 bucks at the used skate shop, lasted about a week. Then I decided not to be cheap and spent 200 bucks buying the board, trucks, bearings, grip tape all seperate. It was the best board i ever had, it was heavy (I liked it heavy so it ollies higher). I was never into flip tricks or anything, just ollie'ing huge gaps. I had the board for 3 years before giving it to a youngster who wanted it more than I did.

well my opinion is that the best board you can get is a custom board not just some bored that you buy in a store and everythings one brand i havent skated in a long time but it depends if you wanna do tricks or do you just want to skate if you just want to skate i would get a speed board or a long board
