:nilly:I syphoned the tank and now I can't figure out how to fill it back up. It keeps taking water out. I was given this thing with the tank so no directions. Right now I have the syphon thing in the tank and the hose connected to my sink the white switch on the hose is in line with the hose. I have the green connecter pulled down. What am I doing wrong? The tank is not getting refilled :nilly:

Push the green connector up and twist it to the side and you will begin to fill:)

you have to shut off the valve that allows the water to exit the fitting so it is forced through the hose.

Or in an emergency just plug up the hole with your hand or something

Push up and over on the circled part. I'm not sure which way you push though... It becomes second nature after a while, so I can't remember...

If it is used, then just stop your syphon by turning the water off and taking the gravel vac out of the tank. Then losen the screw holding the bottom of the python's "pump" on. Alot of time a piece of gravel or broken off chunk of driftwood will get stuck in there and keep the bottom from locking into place...

congrats!

I actually have never used a python so I was just guessing ha ha

call me stubborn but I cant justify spending $25 on a piece of hose with a nifty "pump" aka venturi on it when I can buy tubing for $.25 a foot

although I do own a python...just not the kind that is for water changes
