Ok ok..I got it. My hands were wet and slippery. Well I planned on doing a 25% w/c it's now a 75%!!! lol

why didn't you just take the vac out of the tank?

Because I didn't know if it needed to be filled with water to work. It was chaos! I kept running from the sink to the computer to the tank

If it is used, then just stop your syphon by turning the water off and taking the gravel vac out of the tank. Then losen the screw holding the bottom of the python's "pump" on. Alot of time a piece of gravel or broken off chunk of driftwood will get stuck in there and keep the bottom from locking into place...

I was in a panic certain things didn't register!!!! Besides I kept the vac in there because at the same time I was TRYING to get the fill to start.
