My tank set up has been up and going for about 1 month now. And yes the use of benifitial bacteria build up in the tank converting ammonia into nitrite into nontoxic nitrates, why do you ask?
I only ask because it seemed like a new tank with a lot of fish in it, often people just starting out won't have a good grasp on the cycle and will end up with dead fish and questions. But seems like you know about it, so no need for me to explain lol
If I were to keep the green terror and rehome the Africans, what other fish would I be able to keep with him? Would I be able to keep my school of phantom tetras? Would I be able to keep my red tail sharks? I definitely dont want just 1 fish in a 55g, I would hope to have a fairly stocked tank or is that impossible with the green terror?
The green terror will let you know if will allow you to keep the other fish by not continually harassing them. You will only be able to keep 1 green terror, and it's best if it is a female since a male green terror will certainly outgrow the tank.
