So heres the situation. 2 weeks ago I purchased a 75g for my living room to house my juvy peacock bass (4 total). They were in a 55g with some other fish but they needed their own space. Anyway I took the established Marineland C-360 off of the 55g and left the emperor 280 on as to not totally crash the tank. The canister was installed on 75g without touching media that was inside. Figured if I was to do that it had a better chance at a faster cycle. I added a new emp 280 to the 55g and a emp 400 to the 75g. I loaded the 75g with about 100 clean feeders to help get things going. Added Seachem stability as directed. First 4 days tanks fine. Then woking up on day 5 by the bass in 55g trying to jump out due to an increase in ammonia from taking away c-360. Switched them to 75g last thurs and was fine till now. Ammonia way up and swirls of what looks like white clouds through out tank. How do I control this without loosing my Pbass? Sry so long.
