i think with a skimmer for a 150 and maybe one powerhead.. if you had about 20 pounds of LR you'd be set.. a skimmer for a 150 is MASSIVE!!!

or did you mean like a seaclone 150? which is for a 65-75 gallon tank

ok newer update, its a 55 gallon, and i was wondering if i can use a uv sterilizer to make tap water safe for saltwater usage??? and it is a seaclone 150

UV is for killing off bacteria. you want to get particles out of your tap water. UV for tapwater is totally unnecessary.
