Need help!!!

I just found my 15" gibby dead, she was rock hard, white in the lens of the eye, & also had a little white hole on its nose, like a small bite mark. I have a spotted puffer, clown knife, bichar & a 17" common pleco. The pleco of lately has been frequently going to the top getting air, alot. I guess I wondering if a puffers bite is poisoness or just there bodies as a defense or if you think something else is going on. Water seems good except my alkilinty is alittle high. Thanks for your help!

i would say the pufferfish may have something to do with it they can be viscious things. could have been a territorial thing between plecos but i doubt it very much.

The pleco's seemed to get along fine, & right now all the other fish all doing fine except the other pleco has been acting spaztic

Why not just seperate? Thats just his natural behavior,

it must be the puffer. Can't fight their own nature. Better separate them. if you have no spare tanks, it gotta go away.

Puffers are little buggers, usually like species only tanks. How big is he? got a picture?
Their poision is only in there bladders so that if they get eaten it kills who ever eats them.

quick question how can a puffer in one tank kill a fish in the other your sig says that they are in different tanks wtf???
