I have two questions that I need help with. First is I think I need more flow. I have a 65 gal. and right now I am running one powerhead that I believe is 400 gph and the return off my canister filter. Would it be way to much flow if I took out the powerhead ( looks ugly in the tank) and replaced it with a koralia 3 rated at 850 gph? Second question is I am thinking about putting a sump under my tank but I need a return pump. What size of return pump would I need on a aquarium this size? The overflow box is a 600 gph overflow. Once I get the sump set up I would get rid of the canister filter so that flow would be gone. Any help would be wonderful. Again thank you.

If you want to do corals then the H2O turnover should be around 15 - 20 times. For fish I think 10 - 12 is good enough. I have a 55 gallon with three koralia 3 pumps and a rio 32hf pump.

I know its a lot but I will be getting into sps soon so I want to have the best for my corals...

return pump-mag 9.5 works great

i would run 2 koralia 3's. I used to have a 65 reef before i moved it up to a 120. IMO 2 #3's is more then sufficient. your fish and corals should be bothered as long as you distribute the flow to create the liked current lol. Play around with them and you will see how angles make a difference.
