Your brother cut it?! Chriiiiist, I wouldn't ever let him near your animals again.

It looks like it definately hurt.

Do not worry about rotting, just keep the temps of the water up, and keep the water super clean. If you notice fungus growing on the tail, dipping the tail in a salt solution will help.

Good luck,
Paul

pimp slap that bro!!!

And what was his idea for cutting that poor turtle's tail off after he being bit?....Sort of pay back or revange against the animal?.:screwy:

It is an extremely cruel and stupid way to proceed to get revange against an animal because one animal acts for instinct not in the idea of "that moron took me out of the water, I'll bite him".

Make him understand that it is an animal who probably got scared and tried to defend himself for God's sake!!!!:irked:.

You should have that turt taken away from you for animal's protection office...:irked::irked::irked:

You really pissed me off :irked::irked::irked::irked:

Oh man what a DB!

It is funny though that he got bit, preemptive justice.
Too bad the AliSnap wasn't big enough to really leave a lasting impression.

Take it easy man....you shouldn't jump down this guy's throat for something his brother did. I'm sure he didn't sit there and watch him do it. He is obviously upset about it and is looking to ease the animal's pain and ensure its survival. Seeing something like that pisses me off too, but at least direct your anger in the appropriate direction. No one here will argue with you that the brother was wrong, and that there should be consequences for anyone who purposely or knowingly hurts an animal.

Huy...as mentioned earlier by Paul...a simple salt solution will help keep fungus from growing. Good luck and keep us posted.

You need to drydock your turtle for a couple of hours a night and apply diluted betadine to the wound. Do this everynight for 2 weeks and you should be fine.

:wall:if ur brother has already gotten bit by ur turtle i suggest u keep him away from ur crocs
