So 4 times not I bred my BGJD male and EBJD female...all 4 times the babies after they hatch and are swimming just seem to dissapear =( Does any1 know what could be going on?

Thanks

either parents or tank mates are eating them.

Parents are out of the tank and no tank mates

What type of filter are you using? Its possible they're getting sucked up?

a fluval 305.....It is covered up though with pantyhose so they cant fit into it....I dont get it..there were about 200 of them this morning and now about 20...

I would first say the Parents or tankmates but you have them alone.

Then possibly the filter but you seem to have that covered.

Is the tank bare? I mean if there is alot of decoration in it maybe there hiding? Have you seen any bodies floating?

Well the thing with breeding ebjd, you have to seperate the smaller ebjd from their larger bgjd siblings. Considering you'll get a 50-50 outcome it doesn't explain your significant loss, but still could be an issue.

no bodies floating anywhere.....I havent checked yet though i just got out of work....yep just checked there is like 5 in there..no dead bodies anywhere.
