It could be the heavy metals from the scented candles or pesticides and/or dangerous elements from the rocks. Get those rocks out of there and definitely do several large water changes. And no more toxic candles in the house, they're bad for you, too.

but wouldnt all my cichlids have the same things going on i have 3 yellow labs a electric blue and a jack dempsey. everybody is eatiing normal except for the small albino oscar all he does now is hang by the heaters i took pics im going to upload at work there hard to see but im trying. i droped in tank buddies jungle parasite clear added salt and have raised the temp to 79-80.2 its hard to keep a constant temp on a big tank rinsed all the media off in the filters going to see whats going on a lack of eating is never good
