sorry to hear... but if all the tigers shared the same tank at any time in the past, then the paracites could still be present, in another fish/host (waht vaine111 said)

I always try to avoid meds, but based on the recent deaths, i would blast the tank with anti paracite/bacteria meds. then wait 3 days, then do 30% wc daily, until tank is flushed 100%. if u dont want to use meds, then salt, up temp, then do 30% wc daily, until tank is flushed 100%.
best to be safe, following so many dieing not too long ago, something is lurking in water or fish.
hope everything settles for you. dont htink thers much more you can do

Yea that’s what I’m doing no meds though I have the tank at 86-88 and adding salt iv done three water changes this week and probably one tonight and one tomorrow. They’ve only been in this tank for a week I moved them in there once I noticed the one acting funny so I also have put meds in the big tank they were originally in so nothing in there will hopefully have it or catch it.

Good move...
I would only advise on flushing the tank out in situations such as yours, with the recent deaths.

“And it wont effect all your fish either whatever they have. I hope your new dat is in totally different tanks or he will get it to”

What do you mean by this, that it wont effect any other fish besides the dats?

That’s exactly what I did, maybe I just caught it a little to late.[/QUOTE]

I mean whatever is in the tank right now is killing off your dats but not bothering the other fish. I went down this road before. I had dats and peacock bass together and the dats were dieing and the bass were totally fine. I used TRIPLE SULFA cause that treats for PATHOGENIC BACTERIAL FISH INFECTIONS as other meds may not. This worked for me and problem was solved that time. After that i started doing 40-50% water changes after heavy feedings and never had it come back. And yes if you dont catch in time it will kill all. I also used tons of salt.

Use prazipro bro. Its safe and you normally get whatever internal parasites are present in one dose.

I see, every one else in the 405 is doing very well. I’m going to keep the Dats in the 135 for a while and just them nothing else in there hopefully that will be it. Ill have to invest in some to keep on hand just in case, Thanks.

Yea I thought of getting some. I think I’m going to go ahead and gets some just in case I have any other problems with them, but the rest are looking very healthy and eating every thing I put in.
